My path to interior design wasn't traditional — and honestly, I think that is part of what makes Finch Home Studio different.
I graduated from FIT in New York City and spent ten years in fashion merchandising with brands like Burberry, Ann Taylor, and West Elm. That experience trained my eye for color, texture, styling, and trends — skills that now shape the way I see every room.
After leaving the fashion industry to raise my three kids, I built a portrait photography business, where I spent years working with light, scale, composition, and emotion. Looking through a lens changed the way I see beauty, balance, and the details that make a space feel intentional.
Through every stage of life, I was always the person rearranging, renovating, and reimagining the spaces around me. After moving from Brooklyn to Cary, that passion naturally grew into something more.
At Finch Home Studio, I bring an eye for balance, styling, and thoughtful aesthetics — creating spaces that feel beautiful, personal, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.
